Stitched Up Heart is by far one of my favorite bands to cover. I always get amazing photos of them and musically they just seem to get better and better each time I see them. Lead vocalist Mixi, is electric on
stage, and is a photographers dream. She plays her part to as the ultimate rock star. From power poses to head banging, you get it all from her. And the best part, her voice sounds amazing. She draws the
audience in from the first note and is in complete control.

Stitched Up Heart is currently touring as the opening act for Steel Panther, in support of their latest release, “To The Wolves”. This show in Omaha was actually the first night of the tour. There was a lot of
energy for both bands having that” first show of the tour” type of vibes. There was a great crowd at The Admiral, very loud and giving just as much energy back as they were receiving from the bands. They
opened with the title track from the new album and then immediately ripped into “Lost” of the 2020 album “Darkness”. Lots of great songs in the eight song set. Highlights for me was “Taste for Blood” and
the set closer “Immortal”.

The rest of the band, made of guitarist Merritt Goodwin, bassist Randy Mathias, and drummer Joey Castro- all were on point. As I mentioned earlier, these guys just seem to get better and better each
time I see them. They have a great energy and vibe. I would love to see a headline show for them. Each time I have covered them it has been as an opening act. I believe they deserve to have that headlining
slot. When that happens, look out…they will dominate that stage even more. Check them out if you haven’t yet. You won’t be disappointed.
