Lydia Can’t Breathe at Reverb Lounge in Omaha, Nebraska on August 30, 2017
Three times. That is how many times I have seen Lydia Can’t Breathe in Omaha. Guess that makes me a fan. First time was in May 2014 supporting Mushroomhead as characters from Anchor Man. Second was a headline tour as Marvel heroes and this time, Star Wars. Entertaining is a good word to use, but it is really about the Lydia Can’t Breathe experience…lights, sound, songs, musicianship and an cool light saber fight before the show. Gimmicky? You bet your ass it is and there is nothing wrong with it. The “Last Get High Tour” also fit the theme of their outfits for this show as well playing on one of the Star Wars movies. The show ends with the rich tradition of making and giving out sandwiches during “Peanut Butter Jelly Time“. Honestly go check theses guys out!
They are travelling this summer to scour up the cash to release their new album “Tastes New” which is to be released on October 10th. One can pre-order the record on the Lydia Can’t Breathe website.
