My personal observations from previous shows, reviews, and personal opinion (Yea, my opinions reflect some of the views of The Pit Magazine). After all, I run this three ring circus. – The Pit Master
Not a huge fan of Tool. Although, I do like “Undertow” which is, to me, their best work. The videos and photos taken for this show that Maynard Keenan spent most of the set on a sub-stage to the far, back right of the mainstage. The first song, which is the one we photographed, was completely shrouded by a thin curtain that was riddled with very small LED lights. This gave the appearance of grainy and “noisy” photos.
That is all. My observation from other attendees and photographers is that it was, you know, Tool. Nothing fancy and kind of underwhelming. But, some pretty gosh damm good photos!
