Fit for a King Gallery & Review
Fit For a King was up first, starting off their set with End (The Other Side.) The crowd was heated up from the moment they stepped onto the stage, and the energy only built up as the night went on. With lots of encouragement from front man Ryan Kirby, the crowd partook in lots of crowd surfing (aided by the venue security) and mosh pits as well as a live debut of their newest single, Keeping Secrets. Fit for a King closed their set with a phenomenal performance of God on Fire, aided in vocals by a young fan from the crowd!
The Devil Wears Prada Gallery & Review
The Devil Wears Prada kicked off the second half of the show with Exhibition, the first track from their 2022 album “Color Decay.” Lead vocalist Mike Hranica kept the energy moving, never staying in one place on the stage for too long. The crowd matched the energy, continuing the mosh pits and crowd surfing from the first set. the band performed hit songs like “Chemical,” “Broken,” and the band’s top track on Spotify, “Salt.” They ended their set and the night with an outstanding performance of “Hey John, What’s Your Name Again?” that had everyone on their feet and moving.
Overall, this was a great show and amazing start to the Metalcore Dropouts 2nd Semester Tour. If there is a chance to grab tickets to the closest show, it is highly recommended!
