On a summer night under the sprawling canopy of the Pavilion at Star Lake, music history was written as three powerhouse bands took the stage. Jinjer, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed united for an unforgettable evening of rock and metal, leaving a sold-out crowd in awe.
Jinjer: A Rising Force
The Ukrainian progressive metal band Jinjer kicked off the night with an electrifying performance that set the bar high. Vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk’s astonishing vocal range and stage presence had the audience mesmerized. Their blend of djent and metalcore tracks, including “Pisces” and “Vortex,” showcased their technical prowess and lyrical depth. Jinjer’s dynamic set proved that they are a rising force in the metal world, and they undoubtedly won over countless new fans.
Breaking Benjamin: A Journey through Hits
Breaking Benjamin took the stage, greeted by an eruption of cheers. The Pennsylvania rockers, led by Benjamin Burnley, delivered a masterful performance that was a journey through their chart-topping hits. Classics like “The Diary of Jane” and “Breath” had the crowd singing along, creating an atmosphere of pure rock euphoria. Burnley’s hauntingly emotive vocals resonated throughout the amphitheater, and the band’s tight instrumentation left no doubt as to why they are beloved in the rock community.
Disturbed: An Explosive Finale
The main event of the night, Disturbed, emerged to a thunderous ovation. David Draiman, with his iconic gravelly voice and charismatic presence, led the charge.
