“Sloppy” Joe Lyons Chimes in on “Black Wax” by The Subways

“Black Wax” is a banger of a song! The Subways bring it in on a solid guitar riff by Billy Lunn, and they continue with it throughout the the song. I love the bass line that Charlotte Cooper delivers and drummer , Camille Phillips, keeps everything together. I truly dig this this song and have been playing it incessantly for an hour. My only wish is that The Subways add this song to Spotify or Tidal so I can add it to my playlist. Overall, it is a great song dedicated to the wonderment of music on vinyl.

Uncertain Joys was recorded and produced by front man and producer in his own right Billy Lunn, mixed by the Grammy Award-winning Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters, Everything Everything), and mastered by Katie Tavini (Mykki Blanco, Arlo Parks, Nadine Shah).

The album is available to pre-order now from: https://linktr.ee/thesubways.
