The Cure hit the stage to a SOLD OUT crowd at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on June 11th 2023.
There was a little delay in the night due to the weather. The rain did hold back the devoted fans. They got over two and half hours of music from the gothic rock/post punk The Cure from England. Lead vocalist, guitarist, and song writer Robert Smith’s so devoted to his fans as much as his fans are to him. Robert wanted more affordable tickets and merch for his fans. Man, did he make that happen. I walked past four merch tables and I have never seen that long of lines at the merch tables at any other concert. The shirts were only $25 and by the end of the night, they were sold out of almost every shirt.
The Cure performed an extensive set list of 29 songs including some new and old ones. You can catch them out on The Shows of A World Tour now. We are all waiting for the release of the new album The Songs of A Lost World. This is their first album since 4:13 Dream album in 2008.
The current band line up is Robert Smith (lead singer, guitarists and song writer), Simon Gallup (bass), Roger O’Donnell (keyboards), Perry Bamonte (guitar), Jason Cooper (drums) and Reeves Gabriels (guitar).
