The stadium goes dark, then on a really huge screen on each side of the stage appears Pink as an old school Max Headroom introducing the Summer Carnival Tour and getting them pumped up. Then the lights hit these really big red lips with bright white teeth far above the stage as the song “Get the Party Started” started playing and the lips open up and Pink appeared in there. As the song is playing , she drops to the stage while attached to bungee chords doing these acrobatics while flying and singing the song.

This concert made you feel like you were actually at a carnival with all of the acts. It was a concert and a play all in one. Her aerial work on the ropes were so powerful and gracious. Pink also brings such a powerful voice that can sing pretty much any genre. She is such a great singer/musician and performer. I can see why she has such a huge impact and influence so many other woman.

Pink did a great cover of the song “Nothing Compares To U” with Brandi Carlisle as a tribute to the recent passing of Sinead O’Connor. During the final song “ So What” Pink went flying out over the crowd and around the stadium connected to bungee chords doing flips as she sings. It was like seeing Tinkerbell flying around but stepped up a couple of notches. Then finished the show off with fireworks lighting up the the sky as you can see the city of Pittsburgh all lit up.

Try to catch the Summer Carnival Tour as you will not be disappointed. It was such an amazing concert.
