Deepfall & Plush-Hampton Beach Ballroom-New Hampshire

Deepfall and Plush at the Hampton Beach Ballroom in Hampton, New Hampshire on May 7th, 2022.

Deepfall, a rock band from Michigan. This five piece band embraced the room with a good old rock ’n’ roll vibe. While fans settled into their positions they’d be holding down all night, others grabbed drinks, hit the bathrooms, and met up with friends they only see at concerts. Tim King kicked off this show striking his keys. Terry Dewit collected the crowd with his raspy hard rock voice.

Tim Ossenfort picked his guitar flawlessly, while Taylor Brandt ripped his deep sounding bass, and Jim Sully banged on the skins keeping the crowd head banging. It was also Jims’ birthday and Terry had the whole place sing happy birthday, which must have been a really cool experience for him. I definitely was enjoying ‘Deepfall’. Be sure to check out their new five track ep, ‘Revolution’.

Plush! Wow, what band!!! This four piece all female, all under 21, rock band will absolutely be in the rockstar goddesses category someday soon. I was blown back, and so was the rest of the room. Watching Brooke Colucci, also known as Rock Angel, play the drums was like watching John Bonham play his, and yes, I praise her playing that high. She has a classic hard rock style to her playing. Bella Perron ripped her guitar while holding up beautiful melodic harmonies. Not to mention controlling the stage with her movements, jumps, and fun facial expressions. Ashley Suppa, is a bass guru. She also has a wonderful voice for harmonies as well. Her cool 70s style and bright blonde hair illuminated the stage.

Moriah Formica is where the phase “big things comes in smallpackages” comes to play. She may be small but man, her voice is a powerhouse! I mean not many people can cover ‘Heart‘, and she did it flawlessly, while playing rhythm guitar mind you. These ladies together create a classic hard rock sound that the music scene needs right now. Watch out boys, they are coming up fast. Be sure to check out their self titled album ‘Plush’, you won’t be disappointed in the slightest.
