With a day that started off at 62 degrees than shortly after lunch the wind picks up like crazy with very strong gusts and the temperature drops to low 40’s then low 30’s at concert time then to the high 20’s with a couple inches of snow by the time the concert ended but everyone still came out to rock. Buffalo, New York, was treated to a night of hard-hitting rock n’ roll as Saint Asonia and Black Stone Cherry brought their co-headlining tour to the Town Ballroom on February 28, 2024. With support from Any Given Sin, the lineup promised a high-energy evening, and it certainly delivered.
Kicking off the night, Any Given Sin wasted no time in setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Their gritty vocals and powerful riffs resonated with the audience. With tracks that seamlessly blended heavy melodies with raw emotion, Any Given Sin proved to be a worthy opener, leaving the crowd hungry for more.
Following Any Given Sins explosive set, Black Stone Cherry took the stage with unbridled energy, ready to rock Buffalo to its core. Frontman Chris Robertson’s gravelly vocals soared above the thunderous rhythm section, while the guitar work of Ben Wells electrifying the room. Tracks like “White Trash Millionaire” and “Blame It on the Boom Boom” had the crowd on their feet, pumping their fists and singing along at the top of their lungs. With an infectious enthusiasm and undeniable stage presence, Black Stone Cherry delivered a performance that was nothing short of exhilarating.
As the anticipation built, Saint Asonia took to the stage, igniting the venue with their electrifying presence. Frontman Adam Gontier commanded the stage with his dynamic vocals, effortlessly transitioning between haunting ballads and adrenaline-fueled anthems. Tracks like “Better Place” and “The Hunted” showcased the band’s versatility, while classics like “I Don’t Care” resonated with longtime fans, eliciting sing-alongs throughout the venue.
