I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (iDKHOW), the brainchild of Missouri-born singer/songwriter Dallon Weekes, took the stage delivering an electrifying set that fused retro-inspired alt-rock. Following Phantom Planet’s high-octane opener, Weekes captivated the crowd with a performance that solidified their place in the alternative music scene. Kicking off with “SPKOTHDVL”, Weekes, formerly of Panic! at the Disco and frontman of Salt Lake City’s cult indie band The Brobecks, set the venue ablaze. The Missouri native’s stage presence was electric, commanding the room with his playful charm.
Delving into his roots, Weekes treated fans to The Brobecks’ gems such as “A Letter” and “Cluster Hug”. These nods to Weekes’ early days highlighted his evolution as an artist. The set closed with “Razzmatazz”, a charged anthem with pulsing bass and synths that transformed the room into a retro-fueled dancefloor. The crowd’s roar brought iDKHOW back for an encore of their Certified Gold hit “Choke”. Its infectious groove ignited a venue-wide chant, capping the night with raw intensity. The venue pulsed with an electric afterglow, fans already buzzing for iDKHOW’s next chapter.
Weekes’ banter about iDKHOW’s secretive 2016 beginnings—when he famously denied the project’s existence—drew laughs and cheers, cementing the band’s cult allure. With his razor-sharp songwriting and magnetic stage presence, Weekes proved why iDKHOW has earned critical and commercial success. The performance was a blend of nostalgia and innovation, leaving the crowd buzzing long after the final note.
