On Monday night, the historic Agora Theatre came alive with the electrifying sounds of rock, funk, and alternative vibes as fans of all ages packed the venue for an unforgettable night of live music. Headlined by the legendary genre-bending band 311, and joined by openers Sitting On Saturn and Badflower, the July 7 show was a masterclass in energy, connection, and killer performances.
As the lights dimmed and the familiar pulse of 311’s music began to rumble through the room. The band took the stage to thunderous applause, launching into a career-spanning set that
blended classics with newer hits. Longtime favorites like “Amber,” and “All Mixed Up” had the crowd bouncing and singing in unison, while deeper cuts and newer tracks like “What The?!”
and “Full Bloom” showcased the band’s continued creativity and relevance.
It wasn’t just nostalgia fueling the night — 311 played like a band still hungry to prove themselves. Their signature fusion of reggae, funk, and rock was tighter than ever, and the chemistry between Nick Hexum, SA Martinez, and the rest of the band was palpable. Whether it was the blistering solos, the crowd sing-alongs, or the bass-heavy grooves from P-Nut, 311 reminded Cleveland why they’ve maintained a loyal fanbase for over three decades.
What made this show truly special wasn’t just the music — it was the atmosphere. The Agora, a venue steeped in Cleveland rock history, was the perfect setting for this kind of night. The crowd was a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds, united by a shared love for live music. Parents brought their kids.
