Cleveland, known for its iconic music scene and the city where rock ‘n’ roll was born, saw something special on the night of March 21st, 2025. The rock spirit was briefly pushed aside as the crowd at The Agora was treated to an electrifying performance from two of R&B pop’s brightest stars: JoJo and Emmy Meli. The night belonged to these two incredible talents, who brought the house down with their captivating stage presence, infectious energy, and unforgettable performances.

JoJo, the headline act fans had been eagerly anticipating. JoJo’s “Too Much to Say Tour” 2025 is a celebration of her evolution as an artist, and she wasted no time showcasing it. From the moment she took the stage, the energy shifted, and the crowd roared with excitement. JoJo, now firmly a great artist of R&B and pop, commanded the stage like a seasoned pro. Her vocal prowess is unmatched, and her setlist was a perfect blend of her hits, new tracks, and fan favorites.

What truly stood out about the JoJo performance was her undeniable stage presence. Whether she was belting out powerful ballads or leading the crowd in a sing-along, she was in complete control. With every move, JoJo proved that she’s not just a singer but an entertainer in the truest sense of the word.

JoJo’s vocals were flawless, delivering intricate runs and powerhouse notes with ease. Between songs, JoJo was completely present and engaged, and it felt like a conversation between an artist and her devoted fans. The crowd was with her every step of the way, hanging on her every note, whether she was speaking or singing.

The evening kicked off with Emmy Meli, whose unique voice and heartfelt lyrics set the perfect tone for what was to come. Known for her emotionally charged R&B-pop hits, Meli delivered a set that was full of soul and vulnerability. Her smooth, raspy vocals floated over the crowd, and songs like “I Am Woman” resonated with the audience on a deeply personal level. The intimacy she created in the venue felt like a warm embrace, and her stage presence was a masterclass in connecting with fans.

Meli’s effortless mix of vulnerability and confidence on stage was magnetic. Her dancers added the perfect layer of choreography, amplifying her already impressive performance. It was clear that Emmy Meli was more than ready for the big stage, and she left everyone in The Agora eagerly awaiting JoJo’s headlining set.
